MARY LOU AUXIER

A FRIEND TO THE WORKING POOR.

〰 〰

Mary Lou was the co-founder of the Free Medical Clinic that provides no charge medical care to the working poor. Mary Lou lived life with a driving passion to gather people around a meal to solve community problems. Whether it was at her home or a local restaurant, she made sure to enjoy great food and have fun conversation.

Mary Lou passed in June 2024, but before she did she was involved in the planning and idea of a Free Medical Clinic food trailer, it was right down her ally. She was innovative and an “outside the box’ thinker. She always looked for creative ways to help others in need. She was a person of action not just talk! She loved food, fellowship around meals, and hosted a monthly “LUNCH BUNCH” of friends that shared life together. Our food trailer is named after her and our menu is titled “LUNCH BUNCH” for that very reason.

The Free Medical Clinic provides our food trailer in honor and loving memory of Mary Lou to carry out the spirit of her love for food and community. 100% of the funds collected at our trailer goes directly to support the mission of The Free Medical Clinic. (LEARN MORE HERE)

Come enjoy food with friends and remember, at Mary Lou’s, there is never a tip allowed but all transactions are rounded up to the nearest dollar or you can make a donation above your food cost. Mary Lou would have it no other way - she’d expect people to give generously to this worthy cause!
